Autumn of 2010, took the group to Sierra Leone. Another place and a completely different story. Here it was the juxtaposition of many, many people living in a very overcrowded Freetown. Add to that several hundred street and community dogs. The traffic jams is something, all of the group will be happy to forget. But what we will never forget is, the team of Dr Gudush. Dr Gudush invited us, to help him with his brilliant work. So for once we could concentrate solely on the surgical procedures, because the locals brought their animals to the mobile clinic. With the help of his team a total of 400-something dogs, 5 cats and 2 monkeys had the surgery. They were all wormed and treated against fleas, and tattooed.
